படிப்பு – சுதந்திரத்தின் சாவி

 

 பத்து தலைமுறையின் ஏழ்மையை
ஒரே தலைமுறையில் மாற்றும் வல்லமை
கொண்ட ஒரே ஆயுதம்  "படிப்பு"
1. அறிமுகம்

 மனித வாழ்க்கையின் அடிப்படைத் தேவைகள் உணவு, உடை, இருப்பிடம்.Zஆனால், அந்த மூன்றுக்கும் மேலான மிகப் பெரிய தேவையாக கல்வி இருக்கிறது. ஏழ்மை என்பது தலைமுறைகளாகத் தொடரும்  நோய் போல. ஆனால் அந்த ஏழ்மையை  முற்றிலும் அழிக்கக்கூடிய மருந்து படிப்பே ஆகும். படிப்பு மனிதனின் அறிவைத் தூண்டுகிறது, திறமையை வெளிக்கொணர்கிறது, வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றுகிறது.
 2. ஏழ்மையின் சங்கிலி
ஏழ்மை என்பது வெறும் பணமின்மை  மட்டுமல்ல; அது ஒரு சமூக நிலை கல்வியறிவு இல்லாதவன் நல்ல வேலை பெற முடியாது. வேலைஇல்லாதவன் பொருளாதார ரீதியாகத் தாழ்ந்து விடுவான்.பொருளாதார ஏழ்மை குழந்தைகளின் கல்வியைத் தடுத்து, அடுத்த தலைமுறையையும் ஏழ்மையின் வட்டத்தில் சிக்கவைத்து விடுகிறது.இவ்வாறு தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக ஏழ்மை தொடர்கிறது. ஆனால், ஒரே தலைமுறையில் கல்வி வந்துவிட்டால்,
அந்த சங்கிலி உடைந்து போகும்.
 3. படிப்பு தரும் மாற்றங்கள்
(அ) பொருளாதார முன்னேற்றம்:
கல்வி பெற்றவன் நல்ல வேலை
வாய்ப்புகளைப் பெறுவான். நிலையான
வருமானம் கிடைத்தால் குடும்பத்தின்
பொருளாதார நிலை உடனடியாக
 உயர்ந்துவிடும்.
(ஆ) சமூக மரியாதை:
கல்வி பெற்றவன் தன் கருத்துகளை
வெளிப்படையாகச் சொல்லக்கூடியவனாக
மாறுவான். சமுதாயத்தில் மரியாதை
பெறுவான்.
(இ) சுயநினைவு மற்றும் தன்னம்பிக்கை:
 அறிவு பெற்றவன் யாராலும் ஏமாற்றப்பட
மாட்டான். தன் உரிமைக்காக போராடத்
தெரிந்திருப்பான்.
(ஈ) தலைமுறைக்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்:
கல்வியறிவு பெற்ற ஒருவன் தன்
பிள்ளைகளை மேலும் உயர்ந்த கல்வி
கற்கச் செய்வான். இதன் மூலம்
 ஏழ்மை வேரோடு அழியும்.
 4. வரலாற்று உதாரணங்கள்
அப்துல் கலாம்: மிகச் சாதாரண  குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தும், படிப்பின் மூலம்"இந்தியாவின் விண்வெளி மனிதர்" ஆனார்.பெரியாரும் பாரதியாரும்: கல்வியறிவின் மூலம்   அறியாமையை எதிர்த்து சமூக சிந்தனையைப் பரப்பினர்.சிறு கிராமங்களில் பிறந்த குழந்தைகள் இன்று உலகின் பெரிய நிறுவனங்களில் வேலை செய்து தங்கள் குடும்பத்தையும் ஊரையும் உயர்த்தியுள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஏழ்மையை வெல்லச்  செய்தது கல்விதான்.
 5. படிப்பு – சுதந்திரத்தின் சாவி
அரசியல் சுதந்திரத்தைப் பெற்றாலும்
கல்வியறிவு இல்லையெனில் அது
முழுமையான சுதந்திரமில்லை.
படிப்பு தான் நம்மை அறியாமையின்
 இருளிலிருந்து விடுவிக்கும்.
படிப்பு தான் சிந்திக்கவும், சந்தேகிக்கவும்,
 புதிதாய் உருவாக்கவும் கற்றுத் தருகிறது.
படிப்பு தான் "நான் ஏழை" என்ற
எண்ணத்தை "நான் எதையும்
செய்ய முடியும்" என்ற
தன்னம்பிக்கையாக மாற்றுகிறது.
 6. குடும்பத்திற்கும் சமூகத்திற்கும் விளைவு
ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் ஒருவராவது படித்து  நல்ல நிலையை அடைந்தால்: குடும்பத்தின் மற்ற உறுப்பினர்களும் ஊக்கமடைவார்கள்.அக்குடும்பத்தின் வாழ்க்கைத் தரம் மேம்படும்.  சமூகத்தில் அந்தக் குடும்பம் ஒரு முன்னுதாரணமாகத் திகழும்  இவ்வாறு படிப்பின் வெளிச்சம் ஒருவரை மட்டுமல்ல,  பலரையும்  ஒளிரச் செய்கிறது.
 7. இன்று நாம் செய்ய வேண்டியது
பிள்ளைகளுக்கு கல்வி கற்பிப்பது  நம் பெற்றோரின் முதல் கடமை கல்வி செலவாகாது; அது முதலீடு அதன் பலன் தலைமுறைகள் அனுபவிப்பது ஏழ்மையை அழிக்க நன்கொடை,உதவி, திட்டங்கள் எல்லாம் தேவையானவை;
ஆனால் அவற்றை விட கல்வி மட்டுமேநிலையான மாற்றத்தைத் தரும்.
 8. முடிவுரை
ஏழ்மை என்பது மனிதனை அடிமைப்படுத்தும்  ஒரு சங்கிலி. ஆனால் அந்தச் சங்கிலியை உடைக்கக் கூடிய ஒரே ஆயுதம் படிப்பு. அது மனிதனை பொருளாதாரத்திலும்  சமூகத்திலும், சிந்தனையிலும்  உயர்த்துகிறது. எனவே, "பத்து தலைமுறையின் ஏழ்மையை ஒரே தலைமுறையில் மாற்றும் வல்லமை கொண்ட ஒரே ஆயுதம் – படிப்பு"  என்ற கூற்று வெறும் வாசகம் அல்ல; அது  வாழ்க்கை நியதி.  பிள்ளைகளுக்கு நாம் தர வேண்டிய மிகப்பெரிய பரிசு – நிலம், வீடு, செல்வம் அல்ல; கல்வியே.

The only weapon that has the power to change the poverty of ten generations in one generation – “Education”

 1. Introduction The basic needs of human life are food, clothing and shelter. But education is the greatest need beyond those three. Poverty is like a disease that continues for generations. But the medicine that can completely destroy that poverty is education. Education stimulates human knowledge, reveals talent and changes life.

  2. The chain of poverty Poverty is not just a lack of money; it is a social condition. An illiterate person cannot get a good job. An unemployed person will be economically degraded. Economic poverty prevents children from getting an education and traps the next generation in the cycle of poverty. Thus, poverty continues from generation to generation. But, if education comes in a single generation, that chain will be broken. 

 3. Changes brought by education (a) Economic progress: A person who is educated will get good job opportunities. If he gets a stable income, the economic status of the family will immediately rise. (b) Social respect: A person who is educated will become able to express his views openly. He will be respected in the society. (c) Self-awareness and self-confidence: A person who is educated will not be deceived by anyone. He will know how to fight for his rights. (d) Guidance for the generation: A person who is educated will make his children get higher education. Through this, poverty will be eradicated. 

 4. Historical examples Abdul Kalam: Born in a very ordinary family, he became "India's spaceman" through education. Periyar and Bharatiyar: They spread social thought by combating ignorance through education. Children born in small villages are working in big companies of the world today and have uplifted their families and villages. All of them were able to overcome poverty through education.

  5. Education – the key to freedom Even if we get political freedom without education, it is not complete freedom. It is education that frees us from the darkness of ignorance. It is education that teaches us to think, doubt and create new things. It is education that changes the thought of "I am poor" into the self-confidence of "I can do anything". 

6. Effect on family and society If at least one person in a family is educated and achieves a good position: Other members of the family will also be encouraged. The quality of life of that family will improve. That family will be a model in society. Thus, the light of education illuminates not only one, but many. 

7. What we need to do today is to educate our children. Education is the first duty of our parents. Education is not an expense; it is an investment. Its benefits are enjoyed by generations. Donations, aid, and programs are all necessary to eradicate poverty; but education alone can bring about lasting change. 

8. Conclusion Poverty is a chain that enslaves man. But the only weapon that can break that chain is education. It elevates man economically, socially, and intellectually. Therefore, the statement that "the only weapon that has the power to change the poverty of ten generations in one generation is education" is not just a slogan; it is a life principle. The greatest gift we should give to our children is not land, house, or wealth; it is education.
